Jagdish C Bose

"Jagdish Chandra Bose was a physicist, biologist, botanist, archaeologist and the writer of science fiction. He pioneered the investigation of radio, microwave optics, remote wireless signaling, and use of semiconductor and made very significant contributions to plant science. He also laid the foundation for the experimental science in the Indian subcontinent. He used his own invention Crescograph to measure plant's response to various stimuli. Thereby he scientifically proved existence of parallelism between animal and plant tissue."
